Stewardship Update
A call to faithful stewardship is a consistent theme that God gives God’s people, both in the Old Testament and New Testament. At Nikiski Nazarene Church, our ministry in our community, our area, and around the world is supported solely by people partnering directly with our local church. We are “God’s stewards of both life and possessions (resources)” (read more + Scriptures, or even more).
We wholly agree with:
- 2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
The church leadership of Nikiski Naz are praying that God moves the hearts, minds, and action of people who worship with us and who are discipled alongside one another to give cheerfully to our mission in this community. We are praying specifically in this way because of the difficult reality that our church is facing to fulfill our financial commitments, obligations, and vision while continuing ministry in the way we currently operate. We ask that you please spend some moments in prayer asking God how you might partner with us in this way. Thank you…
