A core value at Nikiski Church of the Nazarene is that God's people gather faithfully and consistently to worship God.
When and where we gather
Service time
Sundays at 10:45 AM
Alaska Time · Coffee & conversation from 10:00 AM. Worship is about 60–75 minutes.
What to expect
Come as you are. Worship like you belong.
Whether you have been part of a church your whole life or never set foot in one, you are welcome here.
Dress casually, like you would on any day in Nikiski.
Grab coffee or a latte starting at 10:00 AM.
Nursery (ages 0–5) opens at 10:30 AM.
Worship begins at 10:45 AM, for about 60–75 minutes.
Children (K–5th grade) are sent upstairs for discipleship following the worship music in the service. Children are welcome to participate in the whole service, if desired.
Why we gather
Elements of our worship include prayer, Scripture, message (sermon), singing, giving of tithes and offerings, communion, as well as other creative expressions of love and praise to God.
We worship God with our whole lives, individually and communally.
Every one of us is on a journey of faith. We are either moving away from God or toward a more intimate relationship with God.
