Mountaintop Series (The Sermon on the Mount) (Beatitude Focus)

Sunday, June 16, 2024

Join us on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 10:45am for Sunday morning worship. We are completing our mini-series on the Beatitudes from Jesus’s teachings from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. Our theme this Sunday is the faithfulness and trust in God by the Persecuted Church over the ages, revolving around these words of Jesus for us today.

One other special reminder: We start SUMMER SUNDAY BREAKFASTS the first Sunday (and for every Sunday) in July 2024. Breakfast starts at 10:00am on those Sundays.

50th Anniversary

Nikiski Church of the Nazarene celebrates 50 years of lives transformed by Jesus Christ through the ministry of the local church on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Please place this on your calendar and invite anyone to join us from years past as we gather to celebrate God’s movement in our history while seeking God’s direction in our next 50 years through Mission 100.

Stewardship Update

A call to faithful stewardship is a consistent theme that God gives God’s people, both in the Old Testament and New Testament. At Nikiski Nazarene Church, our ministry in our community, our area, and around the world is supported solely by people partnering directly with our local church. We are “God’s stewards of both life and possessions (resources)” (read more + Scriptures, or even more).

We wholly agree with:

  • 2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

The church leadership of Nikiski Naz are praying that God moves the hearts, minds, and action of people who worship with us and who are discipled alongside one another to give cheerfully to our mission in this community.

God is faithful and moving! We are anticipating that God continues to transform our lives into deeper and deeper generosity & stewardship as we seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in our community engagement & church’s ministries.
