Love Series (Soul Focus)

Sunday, October 29, 2023

Join us on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 10:00am for Sunday Family Breakfast & 10:45 am for worship. Breakfast is potluck-style. Please bring something to share. But still join us if you don’t, as we will have plenty of food!

Several of our children will be helping lead us in worship music this week and we will be receiving our Alabaster offering during our worship gathering.

One other special reminder: We started MidWeek Dinner & Discipleship last Wednesday. Dinner begins at 6:00pm. The adults meet promptly to start The Chosen at 6:30pm and the youth gather in the Fish Factory through 7:30/45. We do not have children’s discipleship or nursery care available at this time.

Stewardship Update

A call to faithful stewardship is a consistent theme that God gives God’s people, both in the Old Testament and New Testament. At Nikiski Nazarene Church, our ministry in our community, our area, and around the world is supported solely by people partnering directly with our local church. We are “God’s stewards of both life and possessions (resources)” (read more + Scriptures, or even more).

We wholly agree with:

  • 2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

The church leadership of Nikiski Naz are praying that God moves the hearts, minds, and action of people who worship with us and who are discipled alongside one another to give cheerfully to our mission in this community.

God is faithful and moving! We are anticipating that God continues to transform our lives into deer and deeper generosity & stewardship as we seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in our community engagement & church’s ministries.
