One Hundred Million Angels

A hundred million angels hand the Lamb a list of seven... power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, praise. We spend all seven every week.
Every one of those is a currency. Influence, money, time and attention, effort, respect, credit, whatever fills our conversations. Nobody keeps them. They get spent… the only question is where, and over the years, where they go shapes who we become.
In Revelation 5 the angels hand all seven to a Lamb who was slain, and they sing him the very same song heaven sings to the One on the throne. Week 6 of WORTHY asks why a slaughtered Lamb is the right place for everything we hold and everything we say… and what happens when the One who receives it all turns around and gives it away.
Two Sundays from now is State of the Church Sunday, so the message closes with a question for each of us, for our families, and for Nikiski Church: where did our seven go this year?
